Meet your Hosts
Welcome! We’re Wendy and David, local Marquette residents who love sharing our hometown with visitors.
I’m a retired biology teacher and proud mother of three grown sons. David is the owner of a local brewery.
Over the years, we’ve traveled extensively and discovered that the places we remember most weren’t just beautiful—they made us feel at home. That experience inspired us to create vacation rentals that offer the comfort, thoughtful details, and local character we always look for when we travel.
Our properties are located in the heart of Marquette, just steps from many of the city’s restaurants, breweries, shops, beaches, and trails. We currently offer four vacation rentals across two neighboring homes, including the beautifully restored Hewitt Onion Tower.
Because we live next door, we’re available if you need recommendations, have questions, or simply want insider tips on experiencing Marquette like a local. Whether you’re looking for the best hiking trail, a hidden beach, where the locals eat, or the perfect place to watch a Lake Superior sunset, we’re happy to help.
After welcoming thousands of guests and earning nearly a thousand five-star reviews on Airbnb and VRBO, we created this website so guests can book directly with us, enjoy the best available rates, and build a more personal relationship with their hosts.
We’re not a large property management company—we’re local homeowners who take pride in caring for our homes and helping every guest have an unforgettable stay in Marquette.
